Symposium on Renewable Energy Market Opportunities in Tunisia Followed by a B2B Event

Renewable energy sources are becoming increasingly important for energy supply in Tunisia. Reasons for this are the rising price of oil, the weakly diversified energy mix and the high solar and wind energy potential. Looking at the first half of 2018, a major movement towards renewable energy expansion can be seen. Two large tenders for several large and small projects with a total capacity of 564 MW for solar energy and 500 MW for wind power were published.

This symposium with B2B event takes place within the framework of the German-Tunisian Energy Partnership and is organized by the German-Tunisian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Tunisia) and MENA Projektpartner e.V., on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi). The event is primarily aimed at German companies and representatives of German institutions. On the Tunisian side, representatives of the Ministry of Energy, representatives of the national electricity supplier, representatives of the national energy agency as well as experts and entrepreneurs who are interested in a cooperation with German companies will participate.

Interested companies can register with MENA-Projektpartner e.V. until June 20, 2018. Participation in the event is free of charge, a simultaneous translation in German and French will be provided.
